  • Access to client information is limited to the practitioner for treatment and administrative purposes.

  • Acuity Scheduling (scheduling + intake forms)

  • Squarespace (website hosting and analytics)

  • Payment processors such as Square or Stripe

TERMS & CONDITIONS

By booking a service with Amava Massage, you agree to the following terms:

1. Scope of Services

Amava Massage provides therapeutic massage services for relaxation, wellness, and general musculoskeletal support.
Massage therapists do not diagnose medical conditions or replace medical care.

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate health information during booking and intake

  • Communicate any changes in health status

  • Inform the therapist of discomfort, pressure preferences, or boundaries during the session

  • Arrive on time for scheduled appointments

3. Cancellation Policy

Full refunds are offered for any session cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, as long as notice is provided via email or phone.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment are non-refundable.

Exceptions may be made for returning clients in the case of emergencies or illness, and may be approved at the discretion of the practitioner. In these cases, a future reschedule may be offered instead of a refund.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of booking or service.
Online payments are processed securely through Squarespace, Acuity, or their integrated payment processors.
Cash, Venmo, or Check may also be accepted in person.

5. Right to Refuse Service

Amava Massage reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for:

  • Inappropriate behavior

  • Safety concerns

  • Contraindications for massage

  • Violations of the Terms & Conditions

6. Liability

Clients acknowledge that massage therapy involves physical touch and agree to inform the therapist of any discomfort or medical conditions.
Amava Massage is not responsible for injuries resulting from the withholding of relevant health information.

7. Confidentiality

All client records and health information are kept confidential and used solely for treatment purposes unless disclosure is required by law.
